Obituary of Joseph Servidio

Joseph Servidio, age 80, of Woodland Park died Monday, January 17, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Servidio was born in West Paterson, NJ, the son of the late Gennaro and the late Catherina (Lacava) Servidio. He served in the Army during Korean War, was a member of VFW West Paterson Post #238, a former member of West Paterson Italian American Club and a self-employed Mason Contractor. Joe loved listening to guitar, spending time with his grandchildren and recalling his memories with his beautiful wife. He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 loving years, Olivia (Annis) Servidio, his beloved children, Joseph and wife Luann and Ann Catherine Fiumarelli and husband Guy, three loving siblings, Eleanor De Robbio, Albert Servidio and Theresa Peluse, his cherished grandchildren, Chad Joseph, Guy Joseph, Alexa Marie and Michael Richard. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011 from 6:00 - 9:00pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 Mc Bride Ave, West Paterson, NJ. A funeral service will be held Friday 7:30pm during visitation. The final disposition will be held privately.
