All the things we do: by Joanna Rattino
When we leave this world,
we do not leave in vain
we do not regret our mistakes
we do not wish for a better ending
But we fall in love all over again, we fall in love with the world and it's many joys that are sometimes misread and never seen by some people
we hold back tears or loss and joy
we do wonder many things
we miss the ones we left behind
we spread out joy into others hearts as we leave from this world and spread our wings as we embark on a new journey, a new beginning from an old fulfilled life
we journey to become a Guardian angel for our mothers, our fathers, our daughters, our sons, grandchildren friends and anyone else who walks in our path.
we make an impact on others no matter how small or even if we realize it or not,
we all change this world we live in, sometimes for the better, yet sometimes for the worse. But life is pure and is a gift sent from heaven down which granted us a chance to change our ways and make a difference in peoples eyes and with passing on a dear loved one, we make that change and send our hearts and our kindness to other people who need it the most.
we change the future because
we are the present
R.I.P Caroline, A Dear Daughter to someone, Wonderful mother to a beautiful child, A beloved Grandmother, A grateful friend, and a magnificent person who God now has another chance to love.
-We love you Caroline! Now your up in heaven with my grandmother<3

Dear mom,
Even though life caused our paths to go separate ways, I'll never forget how you opened your arms and your home for me, and made me part of your family.
Your grandchildren are very proud to have known and loved you. We only pray that The Lord will welcome you into his home above, as you have done so throughout your life.
God bless you. Rest in peace.

You loved me unconditionally, always on my side.
When no one else would listen, in you I could confide.
Our journey was not always easy; I wasn’t always at my best.
But you always saw the best in me; hope I didn’t give you too many regrets.
Your road was filled with struggles; I saw it all my life.
But you always persevered, always tried to do what was right.
Then came that last battle, the one you just couldn’t fight.
And as those who loved you left, you slipped quietly into the night.
I clasped your hand, so warm in mine.
Knowing soon, we’d be out of time.
To stay with us, you fought so hard.
As you left, into a million pieces went my heart.
But smiles are what you’ll get, instead of tears.
And laughter for the memories, we made throughout the years.
Love You Forever
My Dearest Mommy
XOXOXO Cathy

**Four Candles For You**
The first candle represents our grief.
The pain of losing you is intense.
It reminds us of the depth of your love for us.
This second candle represents our courage.
To confront our sorrow,
To comfort each other,
To change our lives.
This third candle we light in your memory.
For the times we laughed,
The times we cried,
The times we rejoiced,
The silly things you did,
The caring and joy you gave us all.
This fourth candle we light is for our love for you.
We light this candle that your light will always shine.
We cherish the special place in our hearts
that will always be reserved for you.
We thank you for the gift
your living brought to each of us.
I love you and will always remember you. Thank you for treating me as your own daughter it was my pleasure to call you mom!

MomMom,
There are no words to describe the love we all have for you. You’ve sacrificed so much over the years for all of us and my only consolation is that you can finally rest in peace. I’ll never forget how you opened your home to me when I way wayward to say the least. You are a big part of why I am the man I am today, and if I am ever half as strong or half as loved as you I will consider my life a success. Miss you and love you always, Little Michael

We have met so many wonderful people at St. Joseph's Home and Caroline was certainly one of them. The difficult part is when they leave.
Caroline was a beautiful person and one that made my mother and father feel welcome when they entered the Home. She was so kind to my father when my mom passed. What a truly good person to show such compassion and be so kind.
I will remember Caroline as a sweet and gentle woman who always had a smile on her face when I saw her.
Thank you Caroline... you will always be remembered.....

Mom-Mom, my rock, my best friend, my hero. This all still doesn't seem real to me. You loved us all unconditionally and I know we didn't always make it easy. I am eternally grateful to you and for all the time we had together and I can't wait to teach Lia all of the things you taught me. It helps me knowing that you are at peace now. Give Nanny and Aunt Shelley a big hug and a kiss for me. Until we meet again my angel, I love you. <3
