Obituary of Josef A. Pohl

Josef A. Pohl, age 77, of Woodland Park, passed away on March 9th, 2011 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Klosdorf, Germany. He worked at North Jersey Training School in Totowa as a carpenter, was a parishioner at St. Bonaventure RC Church in Paterson, and was a volunteer in the US Army Reserve. He was the devoted life long companion of Dorothy Atwater, loving brother of Barbara Klier, Hildegard Hensel and Monika Petri, a good friend Martin Fearrington and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11th, 2011, from 5-7pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be offered Friday at 6pm also at the funeral home. The final disposition will be private.
