Mike (Cheri & Owen),
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this most difficult and trying time. Though I only met your Dad once, I sensed he was a great man. As such, you should be proud to know that
we can see the greatness of his legacy has been passed down and continues to live on in you.

Dad, Remembering the night time sleigh rides, you teaching Lee & I how to do the twist, going for ice cream at Moutainside, going to Falls View for hotdogs all the way, riding the waves in Seaside, and the camping trips.
You telling Lee & I to get outside and get some fresh air, which I told to Jenn & Dan and now Isabel. We had fun, missing you terribly...

Rest in peace, Pop. Too hard to condense down a lifetime of memories to a small passage, so I will offer this up, which sums his fatherhood to me. When I was 12 I had a dirt bike and was caught riding on the public roads by a cop. The cop followed me home and as we went up the driveway Pop was standing at the entrance to the garage waiting. I was surely going to get the 3rd degree, no more motorcycle, etc... Instead, he thanked the officer and he grabbed a saw, loppers, etc... and we both went to the woods and began a 2 or 3 day trail-blazing effort to cut a path a mile through the woods so I could ride with my friends that lived down the mountain without using the public roads. What a great guy, he will be missed, but lived a long and wonderful life!

Dad,its too hard to say good by, so for now I will continue to talk to you just in a different way. I love you and will try always to make you proud of me. You taught all of us how important it was to be family, and I know all of your children value that lesson. Please watch over us all from heaven, as we will be praying always for you. I love you and will always keep you in my heart. lee

Goodbye to the last of the "Melone 5" brothers. I'm sure you've joined Emil, Charlie, Al and Larry in heaven.
I'll always remember how you helped my dad and mom and the times we spent in NJ and Florida.
God speed.
Love,

To my uncle a true inspiration in my life, I always loved the special lunch dates with you and my father, lots of laughs and memories rehashed. Going to Marco Island and not visiting you will obviously never be the same. Glad we got to spend time this past November, great night, wonderful being with you. Rest in peace my hero. Love Larry<--

Rest in Peace Poppa Nick.
My favorite memories are by far all the Christmas Eves we had at your house in Vernon, pumpkin picking and family gatherings.
I'm so glad I was able to spend last Thanksgiving with you. I enjoyed my visit- you made laugh so much.
I will always think of you and will miss dearly.
I Love You,
Jennifer
