Obituary of Gabriele N.H. Tirone

Gabriele N. H. (nee Gebauer), "Gabi", 70, of Totowa entered eternal life on Monday, April 11, 2011. Born and raised in Germany to the late Emmi and Ludwig Gebauer, Gabi graduated from Staatliche Handelsschule Federal Business School in Kaiserslautern. She married Gerardo and came to the United States 50 years ago, settling in Paterson and later moving to Totowa more than 30 years ago. A loving, caring, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, her family always came first. Beloved wife of Gerardo Tirone, loving mother and "the best mom" of Anna Tirone and her other half Robert Susnosky, Jr., Michele Puluse and her late husband Raymond Puluse, Gerardo, Jr. and his wife Jeanne, Angelo and his wife Sharon, Vincent and his wife Sandra, Michael and his wife Christy and Maria Levenstein and her husband Eric. Proud and loving grandma of Shawn Anen and his wife Debra, Ryan Susnosky, Jaclyn, Ray Jr. and Nicole Puluse, Gabrielle Tirone, Ashley and Christina Tirone, Joshua, Brandi, Olivia and Caleb Tirone, Maya and Chant Levenstein and great grandma of Shawn Anen Jr. Loving sister of Roland Gebauer, Rosemarie Nabinger, Kathi Belford, Florence Matherson and Margaret Claren as well as many nieces and nephews. Gabi enjoyed gardening, animals, listening to music, nature and had a love for life. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 &7-9pm. A funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday at 9:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
