Obituary of Sophia Evans

Sophia Evans (nee Chromiak), age 83, of West Paterson, passed away peacefully in her home on April 23, 2011. She was born in Coaldale, PA to the late Wasyl and Mary Chromiak. She was the treasured mother to Dr. Robert Evans and his wife Gladys, Barbara Drehle and her husband Ed, John Evans and his wife Doreen, and Sue Evans. She was the adored grandmother of Blake and Margo Drehle. She is the dear sister to Mary Forsyth and Doris Chromiak. She was predeceased by her brothers John and William and sisters Helen and Ann. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30th at 4pm at Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church, 220 Browertown Road, Woodland Park, NJ.
