Obituary of Antonio Tedeschi

Antonio Tedeschi, 89, of Woodland Park, passed away on May 19, 2011. He was born in Ferrari di Serino, Italy to the late Marco and Anna Tedeschi. He later served Italy during WWII. He worked as a machine operator, most recently for Okonite in Paterson. He was a parishioner at St. Bonaventure Church in Paterson. He most enjoyed gardening and wine making and was an avid soccer fan. He was the beloved husband for 47 years to Maria (nee Torrecuso). He was the treasured father to Marco Tedeschi and his wife Ellie, Rosanna Tedeschi, and Marina Palazzo and her husband Luigi. He was the adored grandfather to Michael, Nicholas, Juliana and Mia. He is also survived by his sister Stella Cappiello and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Maria Cirino and brother Alfonso Tedeschi. Visiting will be Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 9:00am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 8:00am. Entombment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.
