Obituary of David L DiDomenico

Mr. David Leo DiDomenico, 86, of Salisbury, NC passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011. He was born May 3, 1925 in Paterson, New Jersey to Giovanni Paolo DiDomenico and Marietta Russo DiDomenico. Mr. DiDomenico served in the U.S Army during WW II. He worked for Palisdes Inter-State Parkway Police in New York and New Jersey from 1953 until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. David loved the fellowship with his neighbors and never met a stranger. Mr. DiDomenico was married January 14,1956 and was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Elinor Vera "Peggy" DiDomenico on January 29, 2010. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. Funeral services were held in North Carolina. Entombment will take place on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 11:30am at Holy Supulchre Cemetery in Totowa, NJ.
