Obituary of Arthur Guarino

Arthur Guarino, age 87, of Woodland Park, passed away on June 3, 2011. He was born in San Benedetto, Caserta, Italy to the late Salvatore and Maria Guarino. In America, he worked as a bank teller at Wachovia (First National Bank of NJ) in Paterson before retiring. He was a parishioner at St. Bonaventure Church in Paterson. He was the beloved husband of Palma Guarino (nee Zampella). He was the treasured father to Arthur Salvatore Guarino and his wife Evelyn M. Hershey, Michael Anthony Guarino, and the late Stephen Guarino. He was predeceased by his 7 siblings and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday at 9:00am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 8:00am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson.
