Obituary of Marina Rodriguez

Marina Rodriguez, age 88, of Rockaway, passed away on February 27, 2013. She was born in Seiba, Puerto Rico and was a loving homemaker to her family. Marina was the beloved wife of the late Rafael Rodriguez. She was the adored mother of Rafael Rodriguez and his wife Yolanda, Mildred Laskey and her husband Mark, Judy Rihlik and her husband Frank and the late Edwin Rodriguez and step-mother of Georgina Cruz and her husband Benjamin, David Rodriguez and his wife Dalilah, and Maria Melendex and her husband Bonerje. Marina was the treasured grandmother of Melissa, Nicole, Natalie, Ginelle, Mark, Michelle, Stephanie, and Christopher and great-grandmother of Gavin, Cameryn, Justin, Brady, and Ryleigh. She was the dear sister to Candido, Augustin, and Lucy Rodriguez and Elba Nieves. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting will be held on Friday from 5-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Fair Lawn, NJ. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 8am on Saturday.
