Obituary of John Joseph Mizzone

John Joseph Mizzone, age 63, of Totowa, formerly of Woodland Park, passed away on August 29, 2011. He was born in Paterson, NJ to the late John and Eleanor Mizzone. John worked in the maintenance department at Memorial School in Woodland Park before his retirement. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and was a long time member of the West Paterson Boys and Girls Club. He was the beloved husband of the late Jonell (nee Behney). He was the adored father of Danielle LaMantia and Jolene Mizzone and the treasured "Pop" of Marino, Dominic, and Ava LaMantia. He is also survived by his brothers Richard Mizzone and his wife Dawn and Harry Mizzone and his wife Carol as well as his niece Allison and nephew Michael. Visiting will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9am. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
