Obituary of Fernanda Dorino

Fernanda Dorino, (nee Silvestri), age 64, of Woodland Park, passed away on September 9, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pacentro, Italy to the late Donato and Loreta Silvestri. She worked for many years as the manager at Gem Recovery Systems in Woodland Park and was currently the co-owner of Elite Professional Collection Services in Woodland Park. She was a parishioner at St. James of the Marches Church in Totowa, NJ. Fernanda's true passion was for her family, especially her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. Fernanda was predeceased by her husband Armando. She was the adored mother of Sandra Parisi and her husband Oreste and the treasured grandmother to Aliana and Marco Parisi. Fernanda is survived by her sister Maria Agostinelli and her husband Guerino, her brother Salvatore Silvestri and his wife Filomena, her sister in law Teresa La Rosa and her husband Mario, and her sister in law Clara DiPiano. Fernanda was a beloved aunt to Carmine Agostinelli, Dan Silvestri, Loreta Scotto, Pat Lepore, Nick Lepore, Frank Lepore, Angela Yancy, Lisa Freese, Lucy Cossari, Clara Giaquinto, Sal La Rosa, Carmen La Rosa, and Annamaria Dorino as well as their spouses and families. Visitation will be Monday, September 12th and Tuesday September 13th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday at 10am at St. James of the Marches Church, 410 Totowa Rd., Totowa. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9am. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson.
