Obituary of Carol Keeney

Carol Keeney, age 68, of Wayne, formerly of Paterson, passed away on November 19, 2011. She was born in Bronx, NY to the late Bobby and Christina Bordes. She worked for many years at Meyer Brothers in Paterson as well as being a homemaker to her children and grandchildren. She was a parishioner at St. Gerard's Majella Church in Paterson. Carol was the beloved mother of Thomas Keeney and his wife Denora, Cathy Keeney Darra, John Keeney and his wife Connie, and Wayne Mount and his wife Allison. She was the adored grandmother to Glenn Andrews and his wife Vanessa, Christina Cintron and her husband Jake, Tisha Perkins, John Keeney, Jason Keeney, Dan Keeney and his wife Chelsea, Nicole Mount, and Thomas Keeney, Jr. She was the great grandmother of Destiny Garcia, Joslyn Andrews, Aryana Garcia, William Garcia, Jr., Tyler Cintron, Devin Cintron, and Deonna Andrews. She is also survived by her dear sister Denise Gonzalez and her husband Harry. Visiting will be held on Friday, November 25th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday at 9am at St. Gerard Majella Church, 501 W. Broadway, Paterson, NJ. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 8am. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Saddle Brook, NJ.
