Obituary of Louise Polidori

Louise Polidori (nee Corsetto), age 87, of Haledon, formerly of Paterson, passed away on April 2, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Louise was born in Paterson to the late Michael and Gaetana Corsetto. Louise and her husband Alfred owned and operated Rene's and later Louise and Fred's Luncheonette in Paterson. Louise was a parishioner at Our Lady of Pompeii Church where she was formerly a Eucharistic Minister. She was a member at the Passaic County Adult Day Care Program. Louise was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Polidori. She was the treasured mother of Irene Macones and her husband Joseph and Louis Polidori and his wife Patricia. She was the treasured grandmother of Joseph Arthur Macones and his wife Jennifer, John Macones and his wife Jennifer, Jason Macones and his wife Katie and Jennifer Lyn Polidori and the great-grandmother of Gianna, John Dylan, Charlie, Paige Angeline, and John Michael. She is also survived by her brother Michael Corsetto and his wife Mimi, brother-in-law Frank Furman, sister-in-law Millie Mungo and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Julia, Margaret, Cecelia and Esther. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 10am at Our Lady of Pompei Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
