Obituary of George Corrado

George A. Corrado, age 94, of Georgia, formerly of Paterson, passed away on February 14, 2012. George proudly served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a former police officer and motorcycle cop for the Paterson Police Department and an involved member of the National Association of Letter Carriers. He was also a past commander at VFW Post # 281 and at the Riverside Veterans and the DAV. George was the beloved father of Frederick Corrado and Georgiana Grayson and is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brother Adolph Corrado and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Marion (nee Constantino). Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 9:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Paterson. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
