Obituary of Marie Scalice

Marie Scalice (nee Tedeschi), age 82, of Woodland Park, passed away on February 26, 2012. Marie was born in Paterson to the late Eleanor Tedeschi (nee Feola). She later married the late John Scalice and together owned and operated S&S Cleaners in Woodland Park. Marie is the adored mother of John Scalice and his girlfriend Connie and the treasured grandmother of Max and Samantha Scalice. She was the dear sister of the late Dominick Tedeschi and Ernie Tedeschi and sister in law of the late Pat Tedeschi. Marie is the beloved aunt to Lynn, Thomas, the late Lisa and their families. Marie will be sadly missed by all her relatives and friends. Marie was a parishioner at Our Lady of Pompeii Church and a former member of the Italian American Club. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 9:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson. Guests may arrive at the funeral home on Friday morning at 8:30am.
