Obituary of Michael Foglia

Michael Foglia, age 77, of Rutherford, passed away on March 5, 2012. Michael was born in West Paterson to the late natale and Louise Foglia. Michael was a silk screen printer for many years and more recently worked as a courier at Boiling Springs Bank in Rutherford. Michael was the beloved husband of Patricia (nee Parente). He was the adored father of Michael Foglia, Jr. and his wife Melissa, Paul Anthony Foglia, and Joan McTique and the stepfather of Ron Gugel and his wife Susan. He was the treasured grandfather to Brandon, Alex, Anthony, Kyle, Shannon, Richard, Michael, Britanee, Ron, Jr., and Nicole. Michael is also survived by his brothers Neil and Larry Foglia as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 10:00am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9:00am. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
