Obituary of Diana Hill Caplan

Diana Hill Caplan (nee Venezia), age 84, of Paterson, passed away on March 18, 2012 surrounded by her family. Diana was born in Paterson to the late Peter and Josephine Venezia. Diana worked as the inventory supervisor at Star Stainless in Totowa for 32 years before retiring. Diana was the beloved wife of the late Charles Hill. She was the treasured mother of Karen Blasco and her husband Michael and Kathy Mastracche and her husband Gary. Diana was the adored grandmother of Dina Maria Donato and Erica Blasco and great grandmother to Anthony Galipolli, Jr. She was the dear sister of Edith Murphy and her husband Ed, Rae Polidoro and her husband Mike and Jenny Myers and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday at 11:15am at St. Gerard Majella Church, 501 West Broadway, Paterson. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
