Obituary of Leonard Longo

Leonard Longo, age 87, of Paterson, passed away on April 12, 2012. He was born in Paterson to the late Pasquale and Marina Longo. He proudly served the United States as a veteran of the U.S. Army seeing action in Europe during WWII. Leonard was the owner of Lenny's Tavern in Paterson for many years before retiring. He was the beloved husband of the late Letizia "Laddie" for 59 years. He is survived by his brother Auggie Longo, and nephews Auggie and Leonard Longo in addition to nephews Lon, Thomas and Todd Lauterio, his niece Lee Bridgewater and all their families. He was predeceased by brothers Angelo, Anthony and Joseph and sister Rose. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-6pmat Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 9:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson, NJ. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
