Obituary of Lucy M Sapione

Lucy M. Sapione (nee Petrucci), age 89, of Valley Township, Pennsylvania, formerly of Paterson and Clifton, passed away on April 18, 2012. Lucy was born in Totowa to the late Nicholas and Grace Petrucci. She later worked as a seamstress at Barbizon in Paterson. Before moving to Pennsylvania, she was a parishoner at St. Paul's Church in Clifton and St. Mary's Church in Paterson. In PA, she was a member of the Golden Ladies of Hillview as well as numerous activities groups at Harrison House including playing the moroccas. Lucy was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Sapione. She is the adored mother of Frances Ann "Fran" Santo and her husband Joseph, the cherished grandmother of Anthony Santo and his wife Shawn and Joanne Isleib and her husband Kreg, and the treasured great-grandmother of Kyle Isleib, Michael Santo and Jayson Isleib. Lucy is the dear sister of Madeline Lami, Rose Mirandi and her husband Anthony, Eleanor Aulino and the late Victor "Sonny" Petrucci. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday at 9:30am at St. James of the Marches Church, 410 Totowa Rd., Totowa, NJ. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
