Obituary of Yolanda MacDonald
Yolanda Rose MacDonald, (nee Farquhar), passed into eternal life on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at St. Joseph's Home for the Elderly in Totowa. Born in Managua, Nicaragua, Yolanda lived most of her life in Totowa. Yolanda worked many years for Technical Home Study School in Little Falls. She was a devoted mother and enjoyed cooking.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, John. Surviving are two children; son John MacDonald and his wife Pamela and daughter Jorgina deStefano and her husband Anthony, sister Rosalie Daniels and brother Alan Farquhar. She is also survived by grandchildren Michael MacDonald, Michelle MacDonald, James deStefano, Steven deStefano and his wife Elizabeth and Jennifer McTigue and her husband Sean.
The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, June 7th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at St. Joseph's Home for the Elderly, 140 Shepherd Lane, Totowa, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 8th at 10:30am at St. Joseph's Home for the Elderly. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to St. Joseph's Home for the Elderly.
