Obituary of Jerry M Broadfield

Jerry M. Broadfield, age 53, of Clifton, passed away on July 2, 2012 surrounded by his family. Jerry was born in Paterson to the late Garry and Mary Broadfield. Jerry was a member of the West Paterson Fire Department since 1976 serving as President and Vice President. He was a past member of the Paterson Fire Department Auxilary Engine #1 and #5. He was a life member of the NJ State Fireman's Association. He was also a member of the NJ State Exempt Firemen's Association as well as President and Secretary of the West Paterson Firemen's Relief Association and Exempt Firemen's Association. He was the beloved husband of Rosemary (nee Dreher) for over 22 years and the adored father of Alison Broadfield. He was the cherished brother of Steven Obremski and his wife Marie, Tina Horsham and her husband Ron, William Broadfield and his wife Karen, and Garry Broadfield and his wife Amy. He was also the dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 9am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Cremation will be private by the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Kidney Foundation.
