Obituary of Frances J Savastano

Frances J. Savastano (nee Nativo), age 83, of Wayne, passed away on April 18, 2013. Frances was born in Paterson to the late William and Concetta Nativo. She worked for many years in the cafeteria in the Paterson school system. She was also an active parishioner at Our Lady of Pompeii Church in Paterson where she was a member of the Rosary Society and the Seniors' group. Most recently she enjoyed being an active member of the community at Sisco Village in Wayne where she resided. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Savastano. She was the treasured mother of Marian Romeo and her late husband Nicholas, Patti Davies and her husband Harry, Joseph Savastano and his spouse Gerard Dalmon, and Stephan Savastano and his wife Danielle and the treasured grandmother of 9 grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 9:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
