Obituary of Anne M Muccio

Anne M. Muccio (Spero), 96, of Woodland Park, passed away on March 30, 2014. Anne was born on July 4, 1917 in Paterson, NJ to the late Vincenzo and Philomena (Lupone) Spero. She was a loving homemaker to her husband, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anne was also a former member of the West Paterson Fire Co. #1 Ladies' Auxiliary and a member of the West Paterson Republican Club. Anne greatly enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and playing Bingo. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony "Biddy" Muccio. Anne was the treasured mother of Judith Tedeschi and her late husband William and Janice Cannataro and her husband Richard. She was the adored grandmother of Annmarie Scorzo and her husband Robert, Lisa Beirne and her husband John, Richard Cannataro and his wife Anna Marie, Stephen Cannataro and his wife Joanne, Michael Cannataro and his wife Jessica, and Jennifer and Marissa Cannataro. She was the great grandmother of Matthew, Stephen, Nicholas, Robert, Ava, Brandon, Dylan, Avery, Ryan, Stephen, Thomas, Anderson and Michael. Anne was predeceased by 5 brothers and 4 sisters and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10am at Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church, 465 Main St., Little Falls, NJ. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
