Obituary of AnnMarie Koodray

AnnMarie Koodray (nee Patterson), 76, of Woodland Park, passed away at home on April 14, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. AnnMarie was born on August 2, 1937 to the late James Joseph Patterson and Mary Catherine (Donnelly) Patterson. She later worked as a court clerk and a librarian for the Borough of Woodland Park before retiring. AnnMarie was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Elks in Totowa and at Mary Help of Christians in North Haledon. She was the beloved wife of Allan J. Koodray, Sr. She was the cherished mother of Marianne Pepe and son-in-law John Pepe, Allan J. Koodray, Jr. and his wife Jennifer, Susan Hunt and her husband Steven, Cynthia “Cyndi” DiCarlo and her husband Joseph, and Evelyn “Lynne” Zavattaro and her husband Joseph. She was the adored grandmother of Matthew, John, and Michelle Pepe, Casey and Jason Koodray, James and Stephanie Hunt, Joseph and Michael DiCarlo, and Zachary and Gabriella Zavattaro. She was the dear sister of Raymond “Tiny” Patterson and the late James Joseph Patterson, Jr. and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday at 10:15 am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9:15am. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
