Obituary of Bertrand J Cusack

Bertrand "Bert" J. Cusack, Jr., 67, of North Haledon, passed away on April 28, 2014. Bert was born on August 3, 1946 in Montclair, NJ to the late Bertrand and Anastasia Cusack. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1965-1967. Bert recently retired from Dial America in Mahwah where he worked for many years in various positions. In his spare time, Bert especially enjoyed his beach home at the Jersey Shore. Bert was the beloved husband of Janice (Bordonaro) for 45 years. He was the dear brother to Robert Cusack and his wife Mary, Shirley McDonald, Sharon Beaulieu and sister-in-law Carole Quiles and her husband Joseph. He was the cherished uncle to Robert Cusack, Jr., Jay and Kelly McDonald, Craig Beaulieu, Tracey and Marc Monsko, Robert and Tori Quiles and Robyn and Gregg Vetter and adored great uncle to Joe, Nicki, Ryan, Carly, Briana, and Gabriella. He is also survived by his aunt Helen Shukal and uncle John Baran. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
