Obituary of Louis "Butch" Frasco

Louis “Butch” Frasco, age 69, of Woodland Park, died peacefully surrounded by his family, on May 24, 2014. Louis was born on February 9, 1945 to the late Louis and Dorothy. (Scarboro) in Paterson, NJ where he was born and raised. He also lived for short periods in California and Jacksonville, Florida. He was one of two children. His sister, Norma Jean Bello, pre-deceased him. Anyone who knew Butch knew that he was a very hard worker and family man. He worked for ADP for over 30 years, in addition to holding various part-time jobs throughout the years. He was working for BioReference Laboratories as a courier up until January. Butch was fond of his Paterson heritage, working on cars, and most of all watching TV. As a loving father, he would take his family to Florida every year, in addition to Lancaster and Hershey, PA. He was a loving and caring husband who enjoyed going to the movies and dinner every weekend with his wife. He was a very proud Papa and adored both of his grand-children very much. Butch was also a survivor, with much strength and determination to have fought through so many illnesses, always bouncing back. Butch was the beloved husband of wife Lorraine (nee Marcotullio). He is also survived by his daughter, Jennifer Barbieri and her husband Byron, and son Robert Frasco. He is also survived by his grandchildren Sabrina and Dante, and grand-dog “Buddy”. He was pre-deceased by his beloved dog of many years, Daisy. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
