Obituary of Wanda Samaan

Wanda Samaan, 86, of Edison, passed away on June 9, 2014. She was born on June 26, 1927 in Syria to the late Atonis Ghazawi and Madeline Dib. Wanda was a loving homemaker to her husband and children. She was also a devoted member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Little Falls, NJ. Wanda was predeceased by her husband Abdalla Samaan. She was the cherished mother of Jack Samaan and his wife Raymonda, Mary Samaan and her husband Gabi Chatrie, Amal Samaan, and Fadi Samaan and his wife Sara. She has 10 adoring grandchildren and a great-grandson. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5-9pm at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 237 Longhill Rd., Little Falls. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10am at St. George. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.
