Obituary of Robert L Chamberlain
Robert L. Chamberlain, of Hudson, Florida, residing in Lincoln Park and formerly of Wayne, passed away on June 25, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 9, 1929 in Wisconsin to the late Wesley and Adeline (Pishny) Chamberlain. Robert proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He later attained a Bachelor's Degree from Marquette University in Wisconsin.
Bob had an esteemed career in bakery management with Dugan Brothers, Sabrett and Northeast Foods, and later became owner of Restucci Bakery in Little Falls. He was also an avid sports fan, especially of the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team.
Robert adored his wife, his "baby", the love of his life for 63 years, Theresa (Nikolaus). He was also the cherished father of Scott Chamberlain and his wife Fran, Kathy Chamberlain, Karen Goodhand and her husband Bill, and Jeff Chamberlain. He was the treasured grandfather of Jennie and Kelly Goodhand, the late Lee Chamberlain and his brother Kent Chamberlain, and Sarah Chamberlain. He is also survived by his sister Doris Carl and her family and his cousins Albert and Wesley Chamberlain and their families.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9-11am at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral service will follow at 11am. Entombment at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
