Obituary of Mary Ann Yaroslawski

Having been born and raised in the coal country of Pennsylvania, Mary Ann Yaroslawski spent most of her adult life in the City of Passaic as the wife of Steven and mother of Steven Jr. and Susan while working in Thomas Electronics and JL Prescott. During her later and retired years she had the privilege and joy of becoming a grandmother to 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mary Ann enjoyed her last 10 years as a resident of St. Joseph’s Home for the Elderly in Totowa. She loved the care, attention and friendship of the nuns and staff; the friendship of the residents; as well as all of the great activities that are offered to the residents. On June 27, 2014, at the age of 85, Mary Ann joined her predeceased husband Steve, daughter Susan and 6 of her siblings. She is survived by her son Steven, sister Anna Mae, son-in-law Edward, grandchildren Adam, Kimberly, Robert, Steven, Timothy and by her great-grandchildren. Viewing and funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 2, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Home for the Elderly at 140 Shepherd Lane, Totowa, NJ. The viewing will be held between 9:00AM and 10:45AM. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery in South Hackensack. It is requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be considered and donated to The Little Sisters of the Poor at St Joseph’s Home for the Elderly in Totowa, 140 Shepherd Lane, Totowa, NJ 07512.
