Obituary of Francesco Baldino

Francesco Baldino, 76, of Woodland Park, passed away at home on June 29, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Cerreto Sannita, Italy to the late Emilio and Maria (Mazzarelli) Baldino. Before retiring, Francesco was a welder at DeMarco Disposal in Pequannock. He also loved watching soccer and spending time gardening. He was the beloved husband for over 55 years to Andreana (Giordano). Francesco was the cherished father of Maria Alberga and her husband Stefano, Lina Maffei and her husband Tony, and Emilio Baldino and his wife Maria. He was the treasured grandfather of Rosanna and Stefano Alberga, Anthony and Daniela Maffei, and Francesco and Alessandro Baldino. He is the dear brother of Mafalda, Rosetta, Iolanda and Gemma and was predeceased by his brother Severo and his sister Maria. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in Italy. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday at 9:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murrray Ave., Paterson. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
