Obituary of George J Sokalski

George J. Sokalski, 85, of Spring Lake, at rest in Paterson on April 24, 2013. Beloved husband of Anna (nee Silvestri). Loving father of Reyne Gallo and her husband David, David Sokalski and his wife Tamara and the late Guy Sokalski and father-in-law of Theodore Sobotka, Scott Clifton and his wife Connie. Treasured grandfather of Kelly, Emily and T.J Gallo, Rachel Golden and her husband Andrew, and Georgeann Gray and her husband Michael, Great grandfather of Hannah, Landon and Lucas. George was a graduate of Rutgers University and Law School. He was an Attorney at Law in Paterson for 62 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion and honorably served in the 172nd Military Police Company during WWII. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Sunday from 3-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 10am at Our Lady of Holy Angels,465 Main St., Little Falls. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9am. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
