Obituary of Nick Cianciosi

Nick Cianciosi, 67, of Paterson, passed away on August 24, 2014. Nick was born on April 12, 1947 in Furci, Italy to the late Angelo and Carmela (Nucci) Cianciosi. He proudly served his country as a member of the US National Guard. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus #240 in Paterson, NJ. Nick worked as a security officer at the Passaic County Jail in Paterson. Nick was the beloved husband of Phyllis (DiCerbo) for 40 years and the cherished father of Christie and Angela Cianciosi. He is also survived by his brother in law Joseph DiCerbo, nephew David Guthaim and his wife Jennifer, cousin Ginny Reda and her husband Rich, many nieces, nephews and cousins in the US and Italy, dear friend Neil Guthaim and his wife Liz and best friend and neighbor Maria Mori and her family. He was predeceased by his brothers Frank and Victor Cianciosi. A special thanks to Nick's co-workers for their support and friendship. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 9:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
