Obituary of Lorees Barghash

Lorees Barghash (nee Seikaly), 88, of Woodbridge, NJ, passed away on September 30, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. Lorees was born in Syracuse, NY on May 29, 1926 to the late John and Katherine (Majdalani) Seikaly. She was a loving homemaker to her husband, children and grandchildren. Lorees was the beloved wife of the late Elias Barghash. She was the cherished mother of Hani Barghash and his wife Guitta, Hadi Barghash and his wife Suzan, Hiam Fallaha and her husband Alex, and Ziad Barghash and his wife Claudia. She was the treasured grandmother of Maya, Elias, Rhea, Richard, Marc, Zina, Laura, Kareen, Stefano, Anthony, Sofia, and Luca. She is the dear sister of Richard, Fred, Jack, and Mounib Seikaly and her late sister Clemens. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be offered on Friday at 10am at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 237 Long Hill Road, Little Falls, NJ 07424. Internment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa. Mercy meal to follow internment at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church.
