Obituary of Patrick J Maturo

Patrick J. Maturo, 95, of Wayne, passed away on October 30, 2014. Patrick was born in Paterson on May 5, 1919 to the late Fillipo and Lucia (Gasvarro) Maturo. Patrick proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during WWII. He was also a member of the John Raad VFW Post in Paterson. Before retiring, Patrick worked as a foreman at General Mirror Corp. in Paterson. He was the beloved husband of Margaret (Mazayek) Maturo, the treasured father of Patrick Maturo and his wife Geri, Philip Maturo, and Nicholas Maturo and his wife Elaine, and the cherished grandfather of 5 and great grandfather of 4. He is also survived by his brother Louis Maturo as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ 07424. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
