Obituary of Steven DeVito

Steven DeVito, 90, of Totowa, passed away on November 3, 2014. Steven was born on November 9, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY to the late William and Martha DeVito. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy during WWII from 1943 to 1945. Before retiring, Steven worked as a quality control inspector at TRW in Fairfield. Steven was the beloved husband of Sadie (Ferrara) for 66 years. He was the cherished father of Steven DeVito and his wife Linda and Robert DeVito and his wife Marilyn VanHouten. He was the adored grandfather of Kathaleen Bolton and her husband Jonathan and Kimberly, Michael, Diana, and Daniel DeVito and the great grandfather of Jack, Devin and Tyler Bolton. He was the dear brother of Marie Arminio and her husband Ralph, Rose Olischar and her husband William, and Michael DeVito and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday at 9:30am at St. James of the Marches Church, 410 Totowa Rd., Totowa. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
