Obituary of Margaret "Peggy" Bierster

Margaret A. Bierster, 86, formerly of Old Bridge NJ died Sunday November 2, 2014 at Saint Joseph Home for the Elderly surrounded by many who loved her. Peggy, as family and friends knew her, was born on December 11, 1927, in Mount Carmel PA to the late Leo and Kathryn Bierster. Surviving are her sisters Rosemary (Rudy) D’Onofrio both of Saint Joseph Home for the Elderly in Totowa, NJ, Sister Catherine de Notre Dame (Loretta Bierster) of Baltimore, MD, Ann (Joe) Liffey of Brooklyn, NY; and her brothers: James (Gertrude) Bierster of Boca Raton FL, William (Frances) Bierster of Staten Island, NY; 22 nieces and nephews and 44 great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her sister Therese Venezia, and her brothers Rev. Msgr. Leo N Bierster and Thomas Bierster. Viewing will be held at Saint Joseph Home for the Elderly 140 Shepherds Lane Totowa A mass of Christian Burial will be on Sautrday November 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Joseph Home for the Elderly 140 Shephard Lane Totowa.
