Obituary of Vincent T Lijoi

Vincent T. Lijoi, Jr., 61, of Dover, NH, formerly of West Paterson and Totowa, passed away at home on November 19, 2014. Vince was born on November 9, 1953 in Paterson, NJ. Vince owned and operated Lijoi Builders, a residential and commercial remodeling company in NJ, VT and NH. He was a certified Construction, Building and Plumbing Sub Code Official. Vince married the love of his life, Kathy (Thurrott) Lijoi and they recently celebrated their silver anniversary. He was an awesome dad to his daughter Jennifer Baillargeon and her husband Nick of Dover NH, and his son Michael Lijoi of Arlington VA. "Pop Pop" was adored by his granddaughters, Claire Kathryn and Avery Grace Baillargeon. Vince is also survived by his father, Vincent T. Lijoi Sr., the late Jeanette (Beun) Lijoi, his sister Janet Bruno and niece Dianna Bruno. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10am at Santangelo Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be sent to your local Hospice chapter or your local Habitat for Humanity.
