Obituary of Olegario Pagan

Olegario Pagan, 86, of Woodland Park, passed away on December 12, 2014. Olegario was born in Puerto Rico on January 4, 1928 to the late Carlos and Victoria (Gonzalez) Pagan. Before retiring, Olegario worked as a building engineer for Verizon in Paterson. He was the beloved husband of the late Jesusa (DeJesus) Pagan. He was the cherished father of Luz, Juan, Minerva and the late Jose A. Pagan and the treasured grandfather of Efrain and Jason Lugo, Rachel Aue, Nicole Pagan, Anthony and Jose Diaz, Marivette Pagan, Jesenia Aponte, Anna Figueroa, and Ester Monique Pagan. He was also the dear brother of 3 sisters and 17 brothers and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be offered on Tuesday at 10:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9:00am. Entombment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa, NJ.
