Obituary of Virginia "Ginny" Luzzi

Virginia "Ginny" Luzzi (nee Venezia), 93, of Woodland Park, passed away on December 16, 2014. Virginia was born in Paterson, NJ on September 10, 1921 to the late Vincent and Mary (Perconti) Venezia. Virginia was a loving homemaker to her husband, children and grandchildren. In addition, Ginny also enjoyed fishing and crabbing. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis "Pep" Luzzi. She was the treasured mother of her son Louis S. Luzzi and his wife Patti and her daughter Linda Noordyk and Rosario Lampo. Virginia was the cherished grandmother of Louis P. Luzzi and his girlfriend Tammy Rowe, Wendy Umstead and her husband Greg, Jared Noordyk and his wife Brenda and Heather Ginnotti and her husband Darren and great grandmother to Marissa Luzzi, Brianna, Jake and Gregory Umstead, Logan Noordyk and Gia Ginnotti. She was the dear sister of Josie Wills, was predeceased by 2 brothers and 7 sisters, and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ 07424. A funeral service will be offered on Friday at 10:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Guests may arrive at 9:00am. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.
