Obituary of Riyad Moussa

Riyad Moussa, 77, of Little Ferry, passed away on December 31, 2014 surrounded by his family. Riyad was born in Syria on March 28, 1937 to the late Nassri and Kokab (Khoury) Moussa. Riyad was a grocery store owner for many years before retiring. He was the beloved husband of Siham (Haddad) Moussa and the cherished father of Nassri Moussa, Claire Ishak and her husband Ghassan, Elias Moussa and his wife Faith, Christiane Shamoon and her husband Ramzi, Gladis Moussa and her husband Nedal and Vicky Haddad and her husband Fadi. He was the treasured grandfather of 12 grandchildren, the dear brother of Fayek Moussa and Baheej Moussa and is survived by their families. Riyad was an active member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Little Falls where visitation will be held on Friday from 5-9pm. A funeral service will be offered on Saturday at 10:00am at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 237 Long Hill Rd., Little Falls, NJ 07424. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Paterson.
