Obituary of Albert Joseph Cavallo

Albert Joseph Cavallo, 91, of Woodland Park, passed away on January 1, 2015. Albert was born on June 1, 1923 in New York, NY to the late Anthony and Laura (Crisi) Cavallo. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Coast Guard during WWII. Before retiring, Albert was a self-employed television repair expert. He was the beloved husband of Anne (Venezia) for over 68 years and the cherished father of Jane Cavallo-DeSantis and her husband Lawrence and Don Cavallo and his late wife Nancy. He was the treasured grandfather of Nicholas and Lauren DeSantis and Matthew and Megan Cavallo. Albert is also survived by his sister-in-law Marian Morea and her daughters and was predeceased by his brother and sister. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-6pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 10am at Our Lady of the Valley, 630 Valley Rd., Wayne, NJ. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9am to join in procession to church.
