Obituary of George J Novak

George J. Novak, 61, of Palmer Township, PA, passed away on January 9, 2015. George was born in Scranton, PA to the late George and Ethel Novak. He served his country as a member of the United States Navy for several years. Most recently, George worked for NFI as a truck driver in Pennsylvania. In addition to his work, George enjoyed football, golf, shopping, trucks and cars. He will always be remembered as being fun-loving and was happiest when spending time with his family and friends. George was the beloved husband of Beverly (Young) Novak for 15 years. He is also survived by his brother Paul and his wife Donna and his sister Patricia. He will be sorely missed by his aunt Marie Novak and her children Susan, Thomas and Lori Ann Novak. George is also survived by many more aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3-7pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey Street, Paterson. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.
