Obituary of Maria Gambino

Maria Gambino, 100, of Naples, Italy passed away on January 7, 2015. She was born in Italy to the late Antonio and Elena Riccardi. Maria worked for H&D in West Paterson for many years in addition to raising her family. Maria was the beloved wife of the late Giovanni Gambino and the treasured mother to Anna Piscitelli and her husband Anthony, Rosario Gambino and his wife Ermenia, Elena Gambino and her husband Dario Povolo, Antoniette Puccini and her late husband Renato, the late Peter Gambino and his wife Giuseppina, and the late Gianna Pane and her husband Mario. She is the cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 2 late grandchildren, and many more great and great-great grandchildren. Maria was predeceased by 3 brothers and 6 sisters and is survived by all of their families. A memorial Mass will be offered on January 23rd at 7:00pm at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson, NJ.
