Obituary of Florence Bossart

Florence Bossart (nee Simsarian), 99, of Florham Park, formerly of Chatham, passed away on January 29, 2015. Florence was born in Jersey City on September 19, 2015 to the late Haig and Mary (Chooporian) Simsarian. Florence earned a Bachelor's Degree from New York University and later worked as an art teacher in Union City for many years. She was also a member of the Long Hill Chapel in Chatham as well as a member of the Chatham Garden Club. She was the beloved wife of the late Theodore Bossart and the treasured mother of her son David Bossart and his wife Suzanne and her son Jeff Bossart. Florence was the cherished grandmother of Jason, Bridget, Jeanine and Jacqueline Bossart, Caitie Bossart, Kristie Mass and her husband Darren, and Callie Bossart and the great grandmother of Lucine and Eloise Mass. She was predeceased by sisters Armen, Lucy, Gladys, and Pauline and is survived by many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be offered on Saturday at 10am at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.
