Obituary of William "Bud" Mahart

William "Bud" Mahart, 94, of Paterson, formerly of Totowa, passed away on January 29, 2015. Bud was born on April 10, 1920 in Paterson, NJ to the late William and Minnie (Long) Mahart. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy during WWII. Bud then worked as a night foreman for Federbush and Son Warehouse in Totowa and later at Chilton Memorial Hospital for many years before retiring in 1987. Bud was the beloved husband of the late Mary (Felicita). He was the cherished brother of Jean DeNoble, brother in law to Frances and James West, and uncle to Sandra Vazquez, Jane Allen, Ella Giliberti, many more nieces and nephews and their families. Bud is also survived by his dear friends Norma Gonzalez and her husband Izzy. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-5pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral service will be offered on Monday at 10:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.
