Obituary of Mary C Johnson

Mary C. Johnson, 87, of Woodland Park, passed away at home on February 13, 2015 surrounded by her family. Mary was born on March 20, 1927 to the late Giuseppe and Rose (Fico) Salomone. She later worked for many years at Julius Schmidt, Inc. in West Paterson. Mary was a life-long parishioner of St. Bonaventure Church in Paterson. She was the beloved wife of the late William Johnson (2011) for nearly 60 years. She was the treasured mother to Mary Ann Dlugosz and her husband Eugene. She was the adored grandmother to Shannon Bowman and her husband Benjamin and James W. Durkin. She was the dear sister of Josephine Pipitone and the late Paul Salomone and his wife Dorothy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Entombment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
