Obituary of Americo Botti

Americo P. Botti, age 87, of Totowa, passed away on August 27, 2012. Americo was born in Paterson to the late Francesco and Carmela Botti. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps during WWII. Americo worked for many years as a textile worker before retiring. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii Church in Paterson where he was also a member of the seniors group and a member of the Riverside Vets in Hawthorne. Americo was the beloved husband of the late Rose (nee Rusciano). He was the treasured father of Frank Botti and Ricky Botti and his wife Teresa. He was the adored grandfather to Rick, Jr., Anthony, Talia, Gianna, Vincent and Frank. He was the dear brother of Ricardo Botti and his wife Pat, Armando Botti and the late Pasquale Botti and Clara Hamway. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 9:30am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
