Obituary of Rose Portelli

Rose Portelli (nee Harraka), age 81, of Woodland Park, passed away on May 11, 2013. She was born in Paterson to the late Elias and Selma Harraka. She was a loving homemaker to her family and a parishioner at St. Bonaventure Church in Paterson. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Portelli for 61 years. She was the adored mother of Joe Portelli and his wife Cheryl and Thomas A. Portelli and his wife Jennifer and the treasured grandmother of Steve Rutledge and Kyle and Connor Portelli. She was the dear sister of Jessie Hladik, Joseph Harraka, and Jimmy Harraka and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitiation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home,635 McBride Ave, Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday at 9am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson.
