Obituary of Gloria Nash

Gloria "Glo", "Grammy" A. Nash (nee Barry), 81, of Woodland Park passed away at home on Wednesday April 8, 2015. She was born in Danbury, CT on November 21, 1933 to Joseph and Genevieve Barry. Glo moved to Woodland Park, NJ after marring the love of her life John J. Nash Sr. in 1963. They purchased their family home in Woodland Park where they lived and raised their family. She worked at the Woodland Park Tax Office. She was very active in their community and volunteered for endless events as well as serving as the Treasurer for the Woodland Park Historical Society. Glo was predeceased by her husband of 32 years John J. Nash Sr. and by her brother S. Raymond Barry. She was the cherished mother of Lisa Prospero and her husband Richard and son John J. Nash Jr. and his wife Lisa. Sge was the treasured grandmother of grandsons Nicholas Prospero, Lucas Prospero & Jack Prospero and granddaughters Jordan Nash & Thomasina Nash. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation will be Friday April 10, 2015 from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held 9:00am Saturday April 11th at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey Street, Paterson, NJ. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bethel, CT.
